There is no business more lucrative than tyranny. There are four main forms of its initiation: the accumulation of crimes against a community, enslaving it by undermining its labour; by brute force, offering the choice of death or slavery; by the clandestine compromise of the leaders of a communist or socialist regime, who, in return, alienate their own people; finally, in decentralized capitalist societies, by the individual conquest of business leaders, brought under the aegis of accomplices by blackmail—which makes it possible to maintain productivity while capturing it. The latter path is also based on recruitment by initiation into secret organizations, where successive evaluations select perverse individuals destined to perpetrate abuses, while honest candidates, invariably rejected, serve as a virtuous façade concealing the despotic operation.
